Ian Pilling

I have been taking photographs for as long as I can remember, first with small cameras or the odd picture using my fathers cameras. I got my first serious camera, a Pentax MX in 1981 after using a friends camera to take a set of pictures and then developing our own colour slides. Since then I have had a series of cameras , adding a Pentax MZ10 that I bought so I would have two cameras before going to the Antarctic . One body was always loaded with print and one with slide film. I then tried out underwater photography with a Sea & Sea Motormarine II EX switching to digital with an Olympus C8080 in an Ikelite housing. Having got the digital bug I migrated to Canon and as I like both Nature and Landscapes I currently shoot with Canon 7D mkii and 5Dmk iii
