About

Ian Pilling

I have been taking photographs for as long as I can remember, first with small cameras or the odd picture using my fathers cameras. I got my first serious camera, a Pentax MX in 1981 after using a friends camera to take camera and then developing our own colour slides. Since then I have had a series of cameras , adding a Pentax MZ10 before going to the Antarctic . One body loaded with print and one with slide film. I then tried out under water photography with a Motormarine II and then switched to digital with an Olympus C8080 in an Ikelite housing. Having got the digital bug I migrated again to Canon as I like both Nature and Landscapes I currently shoot with Canon 7D mkii and 5Dmk iii
